“How much should I be pricing my packages?”
It’s the number one question I get asked by social media managers. But here’s the thing — there’s no single answer. Pricing isn’t just about picking a number. It’s about what’s included, the value you deliver, and the type of client you’re targeting.
Some managers charge $1,000 a month. Others charge $10,000. The difference? What’s inside the package, the level of content creation, and the client’s industry.
So instead of asking, “What’s the right price?”, the real questions are:
- Is content creation included, and at what level?
- Are you handling community management?
- Do your packages cover stories?
- How much time does each deliverable actually take?
- And most importantly, What is the value of this to your client?
Your pricing structure says less about the dollar figure and more about the strategy behind it. Whether your client just wants a simple presence, or they want everything full production, community management, and fast results, your job is to structure packages that reflect both the scope and the value.
